The Band is pleased to announce the founding of the Tulach Árd School of Piping & Drumming. Classes are offered on Thursday evenings (6:30 - 7:30 p.m.) at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Lexington, MA. Receive instruction from members of the 2016 Eastern US Pipe Band Champions, many of whom are accomplished soloists, composers and judges. We are accepting new students for 2017; Open House to be held on October 28, 2017.

Structure of School:

  • Small class sizes of no more than 5 students to allow for more
    personalized attention

  • Private one on one lessons also made available

  • "Beginner" class: students must be 17 or younger.

  • Students responsible for practice chanters and eventually pipes or drum
    sticks and pad if drummer

  • Students who desire to play with TAPB will not pay tuition once
    they pass an audition of band parade tunes

  • Students who gain admittance into the Band will be issued a complete
    uniform and a drum (if drummer).
